About This Program

At Ashraya Zilla Vikalangula Samakya (AZVS), we believe that true inclusion begins with economic empowerment. Through the Enable India Self-Employment Program, AZVS is transforming the lives of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) by equipping them with skills, confidence, and financial access to build sustainable livelihoods.

With a strong focus on tribal and rural communities, AZVS ensures that no PwD is left behind due to geography, poverty, or lack of opportunity.

In collaboration with Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), structured and accessible entrepreneurship trainings are delivered by certified trainers. PwDs are trained in Detergent & Neelam (Fabric Blue) Making, Phenol & Agarbatti Production, Tailoring & Micro-Enterprise Activities, and Small-Scale Household Product Manufacturing. These businesses require low investment, have steady local demand, and can be operated from home — making them ideal for rural and tribal entrepreneurs.

AZVS goes beyond skill training. Participants are equipped with Smart Business Plan Preparation, SWOT Analysis & Resource Mapping, Market Linkage Strategies, Confidence Building & Leadership Exercises, and Financial Literacy & Costing Methods.

To ensure sustainability, AZVS also facilitates loan support, subsidy guidance, and bank linkages, enabling PwDs to expand their enterprises and increase income over time.

Through this integrated model, AZVS is promoting financial independence, reducing unemployment among rural PwDs, strengthening tribal entrepreneurship ecosystems, enhancing dignity, self-confidence, and social participation, and transforming beneficiaries into business owners and community leaders. The result is not just income generation — it is a shift from dependency to self-reliance.
